Usually "Entrepreneurship" is a tough, complex and long journey for almost all "Entrepreneur". Very few of them are lucky that they hit the goal at first time. I thought to generalize the key point of journey and seems there are few common things about "Entrepreneurship".
Innovation can be simple : Introducing new thing can't be a innovation always but simplifying the problem at any level and if it helps then it is always a innovation. Idea can be very basic can be on any level but designing that idea on a level where it actually resolves a problem is a basic definition of innovation.
Test the Market : Always reach out your audience to test market. Most of the time we generate some number based on our assumptions. But once we place our foot in market all the no's looks like a counting. At that point of time we feel that there is no demand of this product in market and some how we forcefully start creating a demand. Which is for sure not a good practice, so lets get a test as earliest as possible.
Design short term goal : Once you are building your idea and you are in initial stage design some short term goal which can be achieved in a week or in 15 days so you can validate your idea twice or thrice in a month. This small and early stage validation will help you to define long term goal, also gives a clarity to team that in which direction they should focus on.
Don't be a pancake : When it comes to business , don't try to be good at everything. Keep yourself abreast of other industry practices and skills aligned with your focus and push to develop your skill, product or service to be the best in area that's needed and sought after. Then build out from there. Build a team and let to be focused on some other verticals, let them also to take some more responsibilities.
Work Hard and Celebrate: Don't wait only for big win always celebrate small victories as well and you will get these victories if you will work hard. Small celebration boost you to move forward, and works like a positive energy.
Building Your Dream Team: Being a entrepreneur you might be super busy but allocate time to build your dream team. Don't be charitable while developing your core team even though you are expecting your friend/family is joining. You need a right mindset of people who really want join you on boat which has risk at early stage.
You are not going to be Billionaire Right Away: Once you start business you may get traction at early stage, there are chances that you get VC's and you bag good money for your venture but of-course those dollar will not make you billionaire for sure. A perfect takeoff of bootstrapping venture is to plan long-term profitable business, so avoid self-indulgence and keep yourself on a low salary
